CRAZY TIMES - Summer 2010
Last year The Business of Catering went through a real rollercoaster of a year. One minute we were doing fantastically, the next not so well. With winter and the economy hitting us at once, at times it was really touch and go for The Business of Catering. Mark and I became worried and not wanting to loose our loyal and very hard working staff, I , Lee-Ann decided to pull back a bit out of the business and be behind the scenes with Mark being front of house. Well as you can imagine, Murphy’s Law decided to step in and with in 4 months we landed a big contract with a Gas Rig/Ship for 3 months. This put The Business of Catering back on the map but we had to employ someone to help Mark front of house as we had decided that I was now only back of house unless really needed.
So after many many interviews we finally found Imran. Imran not even knowing how to cut an onion was more than perfect for the job as he is organized, well mannered, professional, everything we could of asked for. Imran started with us in October and has been a God send and with him our business ran smoothly with the rig job and all our regular clients.
If there is a lesson to be learnt with the struggle Mark and I went through last year of 2009, its to appreciate what we have, never count our chickens before they hatch and to see a blessing for what it is, just that a Blessing.
We just want to thank all our loyal clients for all the business they have sent our way and for helping us through the last year. We really appreciate it and we hope to be of service to you and to many more people and business’s in the future.
With so many business closing down last year due to the economy we are truly blessed to be stronger, wiser and more efficient than ever before and to be able to employ more staff on a regular basis.
Lets hope 2010 will be a great year for us ALL and we wish you all the happiness and blessings from now till forever.
